Bathroom installation specialists with a friendly, Yorkshire approach

At BASI, we’ve been serving the homeowners of Yorkshire for over 25 years and we’ve developed a fantastic rapport with our customers during this time. Whether it’s a heating or boiler repair or a brand new luxury bathroom installation, we apply the same principles.

We pride ourselves on being….

  1. Open, honest and straightforward.
  2. Clear and transparent on prices and what we can achieve.
  3. Courteous, respectful and tidy in your home.
  4. Helpful and communicative every step of the way.
  5. Polite and friendly (although we can’t vouch for the quality of everyone’s jokes…).

And that goes for the whole lot of us!

Although these qualities might sound like a given, you’d be surprised how many installers neglect to set standards for customer service. For instance, have you ever had a tradesperson show up at your home and barely ask your name before switching on their radio, starting their work and ignoring you?

At BASI, we’ve made it a priority to avoid this kind of experience. Instead, we’ve created a step-by-step-process to ensure every installation runs smoothly, so our customers know they’re in safe hands. This has been one of the business’ founding principles since when it was started back in 1990.

We’ve also recruited and trained promising applicants and apprentices with the goal of imparting our standards of customer care alongside their practical and technical skills. As a result, we have a bustling team of multi-skilled employees who are all advocates of the BASI way!

There’s long-standing employee and meticulous bathroom installer, Charnjit; multi-skilled installer Ben, who’s trained in plumbing, tiling, joinery and plastering; Chris our surveyor and all-round bathroom expert; and Rob, our in-house designer.

You can find out a little more about the guys mentioned above over on our meet the team page. But as a whole, the BASI Bathrooms team can roughly be broken up into these areas:

  • Customer care
  • Bathroom surveyors
  • Bathroom designers
  • Bathroom installers

No outsourcing – Trained experts each step of the way

Because we have in-house specialists at every stage of the process, we’re able to offer an expert level of service, from the initial quotation right through to installation and aftercare. There’s no outsourcing and no third-parties – just trained BASI professionals throughout your project.

Keeping it in the family

As a family-run business, maintaining happy relationships with our customers has always been important. We don’t just sell you a product and disappear, instead, we ensure you’re completely happy with the results and check back in with you to make sure everything’s working as it should.

Following your bathroom installation, we’re here whenever you need us. Be that for another project, a repair or a design update a few years down the line. You’ll also benefit from our two-year workmanship guarantee, meaning any problems encountered during this time will be resolved quickly, at no cost to you.
